I had a previous version of this shaver, but after 3 years of shaving exclusively under the shower, it seemed that there was a leak in the electronics and the display no longer worked. Recently, it didn't charge at all. Since I wanted a similar shaver I found the ES8109S. It works great and is a little bit quieter than the previous model. I use a 'Pre-shave' lotion and shave under the water. Never had a razor burn or other. Recommend it strongly. Shaves pretty close.
