Either wet or dry, this shaver didn't do a good job for me. I wasn't able to get a close shave at all. The last straw was when I did one of those side by side tests. I shaved with an old dull Gillette razor on half my face and this thing on the other. The powerless, old blade won hands down. My wife saw the difference immediately.
The above, of course, were my results and it may have a lot to do with my facial make up. However, there were other things that I disliked:
-- When the shaver is at full charge it blinks all the time. I found that pretty annoying in the middle of the night if I happened to have the bathroom door open.
-- One of the reasons I got the shaver was to save money in the long run on blades. However, the cleaning cartridge doesn't have a long life and would have cost me as well.
-- The cleaning system takes about an hour and is pretty noisy.
-- I found the shaver screen got hot pretty quickly, even when using it wet.
