Bought this as a replacement to a four or five year old Panasonic wet-dry. Improvement over the old one, but not sure if its due to the shaver or just new blades. Haven't gottten around to the cleaner device thingy. Not sure if I ever will. But I have come to love the Panasonic shavers over the years.
