I've been using Panasonic shavers for 10 years. I use them in the shower every morning and find I get a closer shave than with any other shaver I've ever used, and I've tried every major brand of electric shaver. As long as you use soap (nearly any soap will do) you will get an incredibly close shave that lasts all day. It even beats the 5-blade razors. The only complaint I have is that the batteries will only last about a year and then the shaver goes dead. There is no way to replace the batteries so you just have to throw the shaver away and get a new one. The longest I ever had a Panassonic shaver last was 18 months, but most of them died within 12 months. I replaced the blades and shaving head once after a year thinking I could keep using the shaver for another year, but it died. So I suggest that you don't replace the blades, just replace the whole shaver. Despite this shortcoming I keep buying a new one each year because the shave is so great. Oh, in case you think I wasn't charging the shaver correctly I was. I did the original charge for the recommended time and usually charged it once a week thereafter.
