I've been using a blade since I was 18 years old. For the years before that, it was a hand me down Norelco rotary from my dad. The wet shave option on the Panasonic is better than my blade. I used Mach 3 then switched to one of the 5 blade razors a few months ago. The Panasonic does a better job in less time. It only took a few days for my skin to get used to the electric razor. This unit has exceptional quality and the charging/cleaning base outstanding.
