I have been shaving with a blade for over 30 years and have not had much experience with electric shavers. I recently went on blood thinners and was advised to stop using a blade and switch to an electric for fear of 'bleeding out'. After reading many reviews, I purchased the Panasonic Vortex. I must say that I am quite pleased with the results. Best results so far are using it wet with a gel-type shaving cream.
