Initially, I bought this (1) due to my previous experience with a Panasonic shaver; and (2) the great price on Amazon.
I've had this shaver for about 9 months, and it does a good job. It works especially well (i.e. shaves closer) when using it in the shower with shaving cream. A single charge usually lasts me for about 2 weeks, so I have no complaints there.
My biggest complaint is the cleaner/charger itself. When the unit is charging the shaver, it is loud. If you don't believe me, compare the level of noise when in the same room as the shaver is being cleaned to when the cleaner is done. Just don't be in the same room as the cleaner as it's charging the shaver. I find the noise level too high.
Knowing what I know now, I probably wouldn't pay full retail for this shaver. It's not worth it. Thankfully on Amazon, it's discounted pretty heavily. Get more detail about Panasonic ES8109S Vortex Wet/Dry Shaver with Nano Technology and HydraClean System.
