I purchased this shaver to replace my existing 6 year old Panasonic. I was not disappointed. The same quality that I found with the original razor was easily rediscovered with the new unit. The only reason the old unit was retired was that I was due for a new razor/foil set (approx $30). After discounts, the new unit was only ~$40 more -- so upgrade time! The new unit is faster, charges quicker, and runs quieter (great with 2 small kids).
