Shaving - I have had this product for 3-4 months now. I have only been using it as a wet shaver in my bathroom wash basin and I am very satisfied with the results. I have to make a few extra passes at the neck area - but other than that - excellent performance on rest of face. i have been using shaving foam and it helps reduce skin irritation considerably after shaves.
Oh, and it has no problems with longer stubble - like a 3-4 day growth (2 mm to 3 mm long). would possibly need to make a few extra passes to catch a few sneaky last ones here and there.
Cleaning - i dont always use the cleaning station. Most times i just rinse the blades under the tap and leave the head open to dry. the cleaning base also has its own "drying" option. I use that a lot too. I have run the full clean+dry+charge cycle only 3-4 times (once a month) since i got the shaver.
Overall - Good product - value for money. well built and good quality. bottomline - good shaving results. I must qualify that statement, though: I have not tried any other shavers by panasonic or competing brands - so I can not say it is the "best" shaver out there - but i'm quite impressed with it for a first shaver - it beats using 3/4/5 blade razors that cost $12-$15 for a 5-pck cartridge - Infact i am convinced that it delivers a much closer shave while being more comfortable and economical - so its a win / win / win every which way. happy shopping!Get more detail about Panasonic ES8109S Vortex Wet/Dry Shaver with Nano Technology and HydraClean System.
